Some Food For Thought........... 

 We attend a number of trade, home improvement and cottage shows and are frequently confronted with or perhaps I should say told " My hydro bill is too high and I want a generator!"  To most business people this would sound like music to your ears, only problem is that we won't deceive our customers.

 I will tell you like I have many before "You can not make power cheaper than Hydro One."  You may hate all that hydro does, says or stands for....but the bottom line is that with all the costs, sur-charges and taxes you can not make power less expensive your self.........Period. End of Statement. Done. and I will challenge anybody to prove us wrong.

 For the "Off Grid" customer, please choose your dealer and your generator wisely and keep in mind a few things;

1- Even if you have solar panels, wind mill or a micro hydro station as primary power, your generator Is considered "Prime Power" and you will use if far more than a home owner would use his as a "Standby" generator. You need to invest in a generator designed for longer run times, longer service intervals and longer design life.

2- When your generator fails......who are you going to call? An electrician or a full stocking dealer that supports the product he sells? Folks this is your last line of defense when systems fail, you need a dealer you can rely on.

3- People go off grid for allot of reasons, self sufficiency, hobby, philosophical, hate Hydro{and their money I think}, life style choice or just not practical to get hydro in because of distance.  Please don't react too fast because your Hydro bill is high, find the cause.
